Exploring the benefits of sensory play
By ilehmann In News“Touching something I can’t see”. The experiment motto at our facility in Neuperlach. Exploring their world through ‘sensory play’ is crucial to a child’s brain development. To promote their skills, the educators blindfolded the children and encouraged them to guess the objects only by touching them. Not so easy when one can’t see what is hidden inside the containers. Sticks, leaves, stones…. Of course we helped out slightly with the items where it got a bit tricky to guess.
