Nursery
Each nursery group has an adjacent sleeping area including baby changing facilities and a cloakroom. The rooms are designed based on the individual needs of the children and are divided into age-appropriate learning, exploring and movement zones. These areas can be rearranged to meet the children’s interests and match the various stages of their development.
During the day, the sleeping room can also be used as a playroom for physical activities.
The sanitary facilities are fully equipped with changing tables, toilets and a shower or children’s bathtub.
Physical Activity
In the basement we have a sports and multi-purpose room with a large ball pit and a selection of wheeled vehicles. Here, the children can take part in either intergroup or intragroup activities. The room can be transformed into a small atelier with painting easels and a range of natural- and creative materials and provides enough space for sing-alongs or for celebrating festivities.
Outdoor Area
The garden is located behind the facility. Children experience freedom when they play outside. To support outdoor play, there are a variety of physical activity and play opportunities in the garden, such as a nest swing and spring rocker.
The grassy area is perfect for playing, running and being active and offers enough space to carry out mobility exercises e.g. with a para-balloon and ball. Wheeled vehicles and small doll prams animate the children to move independently and engage in role play. In the large sandpit, the children can gain a variety of sensory experiences with sand, water, stones and other natural and play materials while building, pouring, mixing or digging.
The park and playground in Leonrodstraße, which is within walking distance, offers variety in play and activity, especially for our older nursery children. (Nymphenburg Palace, Olympic Park)
