Nursery

Each nursery group has an adjacent sleeping area including baby changing facilities and a cloakroom. The rooms are designed based on the individual needs of the children and are divided into age-appropriate learning, exploring and movement zones. These areas can be rearranged to meet the children’s interests and match the various stages of their development.

During the day, the sleeping room can also be used as a playroom for physical activities.

The sanitary facilities are fully equipped with changing tables, toilets and a shower or children’s bathtub.

Kindergarten

Each kindergarten group has its own classroom with adjacent child-friendly sanitary area and cloakroom. The classroom is divided into different learning zones and offers a creative- and building area, a role play area including a doll’s kitchen corner, as well as a designated science- and preschool area.

To promote early literacy skills, the children have unlimited access to a cosy library corner with quality children’s literature and comfortable seating. The children from our nursery groups also have access to the library corner twice a week.

The kindergarten has an additional, child-friendly kitchen. We encourage the children to get involved in meal preparations and as a result, they learn to accept responsibility and participation in the daily routines and tasks. At the same time, the children are introduced to a balanced diet and learn how to prepare nutritious meals.

Physical Activity

Furthermore, the children have access to a spacious sports and multi-purpose room with a dedicated Snoezelen area. The multi-purpose room consists of permanently installed as well as movable equipment, used to encourage physical fitness and enhance the psychomotor skill development.

A play- and adventure corridor offer the children the opportunity to spontaneously pursue their desire for movement. It provides space for inter-group play, for the implementation of movement stories or for the use of wheeled vehicles. Along the walls, there are various elements for the children to play with and grasp.

Outdoor Area

Our garden is located directly behind the facility. Climbing, swinging, hiding possibilities as well as a water pump at the sand pit encourage the children to play and be active while enjoying the fresh air.

The Garden is a fun-filled interactive sensory garden including a barefoot path, where the kids can benefit from physical- and sensory experiences on inclined levels.

There are several playgrounds in the immediate vicinity, which offers the children variety in play and movement and help them gain new experiences and broaden their horizons outside of the facility. Our weekly excursions also support the development of their spatial skills.
