Blumenau

Infanterix Blumenau houses four German-English nursery groups in a centre measuring 500 square metres.

Each group includes 12 children aged between six months and three years and has a group room and adjoining sleeping room. The nursery rooms were designed based on the specific needs for infants and toddlers. Each group room is divided into age-appropriate learning, exploring and movement areas that can be rearranged based on the children’s needs or regarding their stage of development.

The adjoining rooms offer plenty of space to satisfy the children’s need for movement and are used as bedrooms after lunch.

In the entrance hall, one will find cloakrooms and bathrooms including changing tables, toilets and a bathtub. Both bathrooms are located between group rooms and can be used by groups.

There is a multi-purpose area in the middle of the facility where the children can do some sports. It is also used for group meetings, morning assemblies or for various events and parties.

The 500 square metre garden is located behind the centre. It has a lawn area as well as paths covered by fall-protection pads – ideal for cycling purposes. The childrens needs will be satisfied by, numerous movement and playing opportunities  outside in the garden. Different playground equipment is dedicated to the older children to climb, slide, hide in and roleplaying. In the sandpit, the children can play, pour, build and enjoy sensory experiences.  There is a netswing ,a swing and a small play castle for the little ones, too. The children can also find small hiding places within the garden’s willow bushes.

Our core hours are daily from Monday to Friday from 08:45am until 12:45pm. The booking of these core hours are mandatory for each child.

The monthly parental contribution is an essential part of our operating costs. This is why payment must be made even when we are temporarily closed or if the child is absent for a longer period of time.

Upon execution of the service contract, a security payment of 1.000€ shall be become due.

The payment will be reimbursed within 8 weeks after the child leaves our facility.
