Fine Motor Skills

Even the smallest children love playing with sand and can keep themselves busy for the longest time. Scooping the sand up with a spoon and pouring it from one bowl into the next. Pouring sand into molds, smoothing it out and “baking sand cake”. All of these things promote the fine motor skills in a playful manner. For the children to be able to enjoy these kind actives and not only during the summer months, our facility in Aubing have created a sand play corner in one of our classrooms. Now there’s no holding back and the children can get their hands dirty at any time.
