Wittelsbacherplatz

The company-run childcare centre SieKids Kleine Wittelsbacher opened its doors in September 2017. It is located next to the headquarters of Siemens AG at Wittelsbacherplatz, in the ground floor of the building in Jägerstrasse 6 in Munich. The centre includes children aged between nine weeks and until school enrolment. Since this is a company-run childcare centre, the children of Siemens employees are given priority.

Infanterix SieKids Kleine Wittelsbacher houses two nursery groups and one kindergarten group. German and English are being spoken in all groups.

The nursery rooms were designed based on the specific needs for infants and toddlers and in accordance with the guidelines of the “Krippen-Skala”. Each group area is divided into age-appropriate learning, exploring and movement zones that can be rearranged based on the children’s needs or regarding their stage of development.

In addition there are many other rooms that accommodate various needs. For example, beside nap time the sleeping rooms can be used as art or snoozle rooms. The multi-purpose room offers space for the children to do some sports so they can satisfy their natural need for movement.

The centre has a spacious garden of around 670 square metres where children can exercise, play and enjoy various games. It has a lawn, a sand-mud area, a ride-on car trail and a variety of toys. There also is a sandpit with a large play castle for kindergarten children, a net swing, a swing and a smaller play castle for the toddlers.

Rocking animals are a much appreciated challenge for older children: they offer various possibilities to move, to acquire balance skills and to gain an understanding of their own limits.

Our core hours are daily from Monday to Friday from 08:45am until 12:45pm. The booking of these core hours are mandatory for each child.
