Crafting Lanterns
By ilehmann In NewsOur teachers from Aubing always try to encourage the older children to do more challenging chores and activities. Being inspired by the cold and dark time of year, we decided to make lanterns to lighten up our days and nights. The children were allowed to create and decorate the glass lanterns to their hearts’ desire using all different kinds of material. Some of the children went wild and used all the pompoms, ribbons, glitter and pearls at hand and some preferred it more plainly. A small candle inside gave the finishing touch and rounded off our autumn inspired theme.
