Clay Creations

Most children, when given a piece of ordinary soft pottery clay, are instinctively motivated to explore its inviting soft and responsive sensory qualities. They poke it, squeeze it, hit it, pick it up and pound it down. Clay stimulates the child’s curiosity, while fostering eye-hand coordination and can also be a great way to extend the attention span of some children. No wonder that the children from our SieKids – Kleine Wittelsbacher facility were super excited to be able to make their very own clay creations. The children made little bowls and coasters as a lasting keepsake and couldn’t wait to show their parents what they had made . . .
