Knights and Castles
By ilehmann In NewsWhat’s more exciting than Knights and Castles!? At Infanterix Sendling, our current theme is Knights, Princesses and Castles. The teachers read books to the children on the subject, and so the children learned what the individual elements of a knight’s armour are called. The stories inspired the children to paint and do handicrafts. With some glue and scissors, they quickly whizzed up a knight’s helmet out of silver clay paper, each child decorating his or her own as they pleased – some even with glitter and stickers. And what would a real knight be without his own coat of arms? Here too, the children let their imagination run wild and designed their favourite coat of arms.
