Fine Motor Skills Activities
By ilehmann In NewsA part of our pedagogical concept at Infanterix is to help develop and strengthen the children’s fine motor skills in an interactive manner. One can promote the fine motor skills of the children with the simplest resources. A simple activity is using kinetic sand. It is a great activity for kids and is lots of fun too! Kinetic Sand is moldable, so the children can build, sculpt and play with it almost any way they can think of. The activities support finger strengthening, dexterity, in hand manipulation and is excellent for bilateral coordination skills (using both hands together to mold and shape). Playing with modeling clay is just as exciting for the children at our facility in Neuhausen. They just love building little towers and making it fall over slowly to see whether it keeps its shape or not.
