A day at Infanterix Moosach

We always like to give people a glimpse into our daily lives at our facilities – the children’s home away from home – as for example here in Moosach. Independence for children begins with a child finding the confidence to attempt tasks for themselves, for example by encouraging them to feed themselves from an early age through providing finger foods and child-friendly cutlery. Child led activities and free flow play are an effective way to encourage children to make choices for themselves, where they are able to discover and act upon their personal preferences as well as resourcing their own learning. At Infanterix we always strive to offer the children various crafting options to continuously promote their fine and gross motor skills. Whether cutting or tearing paper and gluing it onto the cardboard or drawing pictures. Another popular activity is baking with the educators. The children love to play with dough and this way they also learn about the different ingredients needed to bake a cake. The activity is sure to engage them in lots of mathematical and imaginative learning experiences. The main objective is for the children to have fun while they are learning.
