Craft Activities Using Recycled Materials
By ilehmann In NewsAt our facility in Aubing, we are currently focusing on sustainability and helping the children understand what it is. While a broad concept, sustainability basically boils down to understanding the impact that we have on the earth, and what we leave for future generations. With this theme, we’re trying to raise and encourage environmental awareness amongst the children from an early age. Recycling with preschoolers is a simple way to teach them about taking care of their environment. Whether it be in the classroom, at home, or outside. The children were asked to bring in some recyclable items from home. With these items, the children together with their teachers, created a whole bunch of animals, which were put on display in the entrance area for everyone to admire.
