Winter Magic

Winter is in full swing at our Infanterix Blumenau Nursery, and our educators have come up with many new ideas to keep the children busy. Homemade popcorn isn’t just a nice treat, but it’s also a great way to create unique artwork with trees covered in snow. At first, the children glued on branches, which they have collected themselves. Add the popcorn and voila, snow-covered trees in no time at all. Just look; can you see the cute penguins frolicking about in the snow. These were literally made in the blink of an eye: simply add a white handprint onto an ice-blue sheet of clay paper and outline the penguins with a black pen. To end the day, there were 2 exciting game ideas to help develop and improve the children’s fine motor skills: a snowman bowling and a throwing station, where the goal is to throw the snowballs into 2 holes. Who wouldn’t want to be a kid again…?
