Playing in the snow
By ilehmann In NewsWho doesn’t enjoy some snow-fun!? Especially children are excited and fascinated by the experience of playing in the snow. Why is that when walking through the snow, you can look back and admire our own footprints? Why is that after holding snow in your hand for a while, all that’s left is water? How come single snowflakes are delicate when falling from the sky, but when you grab a handful of snow lying on the ground and squeeze it tightly together, it forms a hard snowball? While exploring, many questions arise and of course, it goes without saying that our educators are more than happy to answer any questions, also such as “Why does it snow?”, “Why does snow melt?”.
