My Lantern for St. Martin’s Day …

This year, once again, the children took to the streets singing joyfully while carrying their self-made lanterns for St. Martin’s Day. As tradition has it at Infanterix, the children from our facility at Harras spent a fun filled afternoon creating their own lanterns together with their parents and educators. In support of our environment, the lanterns were made from recycled materials such as recyclable plastic bottles and empty milk cartons. There were no limits to the children’s imagination as they were allowed to cut, glue, paint and decorate the lanterns as they pleased. However, the most special part of the afternoon, was having mom and dad by their side to support them every step of the way.
