Bird Food
By ilehmann In NewsOur Nature and the environment are an integral part of our educational curriculum. This also repeatedly focuses on our local animals and their habitat. To ensure that the birds that have not flown south find enough food even in these icy temperatures, the children at our Infanterix Blumenau facility built small feeding stations. The children simply spread peanut butter on an ice cream cone and dipped it into a birdseed mixture. With the help of the educators, the waffles were then hung on the bushes in the garden. Since then, the children have been able to enjoy watching the little birds eat, knowing they did something to help the birds from starving.
