Fine motor skills
By ilehmann In NewsIn our Infanterix Blumenau nursery group, the children have been creating pictures based on the theme of winter, ice and snow in a variety of ways. Our pedagogical staff came up with some interesting techniques that promote creativity, fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. They used Lego bricks to create igloos, a fork to give a polar bear a shaggy coat, cups to stamp snowmen and fingerprints to create cute penguins. In the process, they talked about different colours in both German and English while counting the penguins. By doing this, the teachers can incorporate other important areas from the Bavarian education and upbringing program.
