The Colours of Autumn

Autumn always enchants us with its colourful leaves and inspires a variety of craft ideas to go with these colours. In our Infanterix Garching nursery, the children created autumn leaves and trees using various techniques. In the classic way, leaves were painted on tree trunks with brushes and paint, and in some cases a real autumn storm seemed to be raging on paper. Finger-painting is always the first choice when it comes to choosing painting techniques. Unique leaves can be created with handprints. The pipette technique, in which paint is dripped onto blotting paper or coffee filters, also produces beautiful results. Not even Mother Nature can colour the leaves more beautifully. Some dexterity is needed to stick colourful paper scraps onto trees that the children have drawn themselves. The children also mastered this with flying colours. A theme with endless possibilities…
