Nursery
Each nursery group has an adjacent sleeping area including baby changing facilities and a cloakroom. The rooms are designed based on the individual needs of the children and are divided into age-appropriate learning, exploring and movement zones. These areas can be rearranged to meet the children’s interests and match the various stages of their development.
During the day, the sleeping room can also be used as a playroom for physical activities.
The sanitary facilities are fully equipped with changing tables, toilets and a shower or children’s bathtub.
Kindergarten
Each kindergarten group has its own classroom with adjacent child-friendly sanitary area and cloakroom. The classroom is divided into different learning zones and offers a creative- and building area, a role play area including a doll’s kitchen corner, as well as a designated science- and preschool area.
The upper room concept includes an open room structure. There are a learning workshop, a children’s restaurant, as well as a studio, a construction room and a room for free play.
Physical Activity
The large entrance area, with its very wide staircase, is used for various activities: morning circles with all the children, theatre performances, or games involving physical activity.
Outdoor Area
Petuelpark is in the immediate vicinity of the Infanterix Schwabing facility and is ideal for daily excursions and for the children to satisfy their natural need for movement and engaging in their environment. The park has several playgrounds and hills where the children can practice running on uneven surfaces while enjoying the great outdoors.
No matter whether spring, summer or autumn, the children love having a picnic in the park, which ensures copious amounts of time outdoors.
