Our team spirit

At our centres, teamwork means that everyone can express their opinion, make use of their abilities and skills, and incorporate their cultural background into their work.

Educational issues and decisions are planned, discussed, and reflected upon at regular intervals in small and large team meetings.

Openness, honesty, and mutual acceptance by team members create the only working environment that allows valuable educational work. For this purpose, each and every team member must consider their working behaviour and reflect upon it. Debates can have a learning effect and provide new approaches to find solutions. As a basic principle, we find it essential to harness all team members’ strengths and bring them together.

Every year, four two-day conceptual meetings work on staff professional development, build teams and carry out supervision. This ensures that regular planning, preparation, evaluation and reflection takes place.

Our vision for our international day-care centres is of a place where even the youngest children are supported in becoming responsible and tolerant and are able to deal with differences in a multicultural society.
